In this article, you will learn how to enable and disable Dependabot for Automated Security Updates and Alerts in a GitHub repository.

Prerequisites

Navigate to one of your GitHub repositories. Select Settings, and then Code Security and Analysis. In the Dependabot security updates and Dependabot alerts sections, select Enable.

Navigate to the GitHub repository with Dependabot enabled. Select Settings, and then Code Security and Analysis. In the Dependabot security updates and Dependabot alerts sections, select Disable.
